Report - Mexican Google Street View June 2024 Update

Well this month has been a good progress to improve coverage expansion in Mexico, four states have experienced great growth in areas previously not covered by Google.

Durango

Towns Added

This update provides new areas of this Mexican state, especially the western area, where this is the first time that the municipalities of Topia, Canelas and Ciénega de Ntra. Sra. de Guadalupe, these towns were covered in February 2024.

Chihuahua

Towns Added

Chihuahua received a good update in the southern part of the state, specifically in the towns near the Belleza River such as Valle del Rosario, Mariano Balleza and El Tule.

In addition, the municipalities of Valle de Ignacio Allende and San Francisco del Oro received coverage in urban areas for the first time. All these towns were covered in February 2024.

Chiapas

Chiapas

The main addition to this update for Chiapas is Yajalón, other small towns also received their first coverage such as Tila. These places were covered in March 2024

Oaxaca

New Roads

We have had new views in some mountainous areas of Oaxaca such as the road that communicates with the Cerro de Gavilán in Santiago Lachiguiri, this coverage was taken in February 2024.

Guerrero

Towns Added

One of the main additions for the State of Guerrero includes coverage in the City of Huitzuco and the town of Huamuxtitlan which now has great coverage as of February of this year, in addition to Tepecoacuilco de Trujano, Mezcala and Apango. The coverage was filmed in February 2024.

New Roads

This update also includes new images around the Balsas River as well as part of the mountainous area between the municipalities of Cuetzala and Cocula, which was covered in March 2024 as opposed to the other coverage which was done in February.
